Fastline Media Group is dedicated to quality agrimarketing advertising both in print and online. Our distribution database of agriculture equipment buyers is the strongest in the industry. Founder, Bill Howard, started his first truck publication in July 1978, The Kentucky Truck Trader (later known as the Bluegrass Trucker), serving the trucking industry in Kentucky.
Three years later, the company that would become Fastline had grown to five trucking industry publications. Advertiser and reader response indicated strong interest and support in similar advertising publications.
The company looked for other industries to serve with our style of trade publication. In 1986 the Ohio Fastline and Indiana Fastline – two agricultural trade publications with similar formats to our truck publications – were purchased. These were the first of many farm trade publications that would come to be produced under the name Fastline.
In 1997 the company’s first website was launched.
In 2011, Fastline began publishing complimentary content specifically for the large-acre producer. Distributed with each local Fastline catalog, Big Ag has a nationwide distribution of 100,000 copies per edition.
Farming has a reputation for being a man’s business, but times are changing. According to the USDA, the number of farms in the U.S. operated by women nearly tripled in the last 30 years. In 2014 Fastline launched PinkTractor.com to address the specific interests of this growing demographic. The following year, Pink Tractor magazine began.
Based in Buckner, Kentucky just outside of Louisville, Fastline Media Group produces:
- 22 Fastline farm industry catalogs across the continental United States
- a nationwide Big Ag catalog, and
- a publication for women in agriculture, Pink Tractor.
Each publication is supported by its own website:
- Fastline.com has the largest, freshest database of agricultural equipment online.
- BigAg.com is the first of its kind, community-based website for large commercial farming operations.
- PinkTractor.com recognizes women in ag and provides tips, info and more.
In 2015 the company rebranded as Fastline Media Group to better reflect the evolution and variety of its print, digital and online content offerings.
Fastline Media Group truly believes in giving back. We are committed to supporting local communities where our readers and advertisers live and work by dedicating our time and financial support.
Fastline Media Group’s staff members host various FUN-Raising events throughout the year such as auctions, chili cook-offs and casual days. Over the years the staff has donated close to one million dollars to its designated charities.
In addition, Fastline Media’s Group sponsors a FUN-Raising 5K every August in Oldham County. It’s one of four 5K events that make up the Grand Slam, which promotes fun, family and encourages fitness among residents.

The frontline of Fastline Media Group is our national sales network of 40 local sales and marketing specialists who are located all around the country. Customer Service – Help Desk and Circulation
Circulation ensures that each catalog arrives at the homes of our qualified readers. The Help Desk loads all of the equipment from every catalog to Fastline.com. They also provide F.R.E.D. (Fastline’s Real-time Equipment Database) support to all of our customers.
Customer Service Representatives
When an ad comes to us incomplete, the CSRs track down the missing pieces. They help piece the ad together before it goes to our graphic artists.
A human resources department is a critical component of employee well-being in any business and that’s no exception at Fastline Media Group — happy employees lead to happy customers. HR responsibilities include payroll, benefits, hiring and keeping up-to-date with state and federal tax laws.
Our IT department works behind the scenes of our full suite of websites making sure farmers can find what they’re looking for easily and fast. They’re also here to fulfill your company’s website needs.
Graphics – Paginators and Designers
Our Graphics department turns sketches into ads every day. We also complete each catalog with care by laying it out, adding folios and sending it to MCW, our very own printer.
The Marketing department helps deliver your message directly to readers, whether that’s through email, social media or a trade show. It’s also their mission to bring awareness to all of the great products and services Fastline Media Group offers to maximize your investment.
Production Team Leaders
Our Production Team Leaders manage the Graphics group, Customer Service Representatives and Sales Support together to publish Fastline Media Group’s portfolio of products. It is a team effort to make sure each catalog is up to company standards. We want your message delivered effectively to buyers.
